Our philosophy of learning French
We believe that to constantly hear and experience a language is one of the most efficient ways to learn. Thus our aim is to provide a series of French immersion courses that are practical and relevant. Our structured morning sessions are reinforced in the afternoon’s informal program that immerses participants into the culture, history and sporting life of the Valais. This method enhances retention, encourages participation and provides maximum interest, thus offering students of French the best possible chance of success.

It is also important to us that students complete each course feeling enriched and satisfied with their accomplishment and progress. Learning French in Switzerland should be a personal achievement, as well as a memorable one.

Teachers
Our teachers are highly-experienced with university degrees. Enthusiastic and motivated, they will draw out your conversational abilities, encourage participation without inhibition, and extend your grammar and knowledge of the language. Learning French with our teachers will inspire you to achieve and continue the journey.

Levels
Our Academy offers structured French immersion courses of two to four weeks in duration that cater for beginner to advanced students from approximately 21 to 75 years of age. Average class sizes are approximately eight students.

Course duration
French immersion courses can be taken over a four-week or two-week period. Participants may choose any combination of two-week courses. For example, the two-week Premier Course (French+Culture/Recreation) with the two-week specialist course, e.g. French+Skiing, French+Golf or French+Hiking. All courses enhance the enjoyment and experience of learning French for participants by combining French lessons with a particular interest or focus.

Four-week French immersion course
A four-week in-depth course is available for those who wish to take their first step or to extend their knowledge and give themselves the optimum chance to develop their French language skills.

Two-week French immersion course
A two-week course is available for those who wish to gain an introduction to French or refine their existing French language skills.
